Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They pass our tests on cleaning and can take care of various floors. Choose models that permit you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the best models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an app that allows you to save maps, set schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. robot vacuum cleaner makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms, as well as carpet in the middle and a large area. It easily drove close to walls without colliding with them, and even managed to cross thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down stairs in a single move. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it reached carpets or rugs.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working efficiently. In order to do this, you'll have to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to avoid it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged up with dirt or dust. But, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice for your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than just drag a pad across a surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as required.
This robot combo has an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It includes a rechargeable hand vacuum to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished whenever required. It has a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that effortlessly picks up most of the debris, and even smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it can sometimes get caught up on the tiny carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual border within the application). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent, with a pair spinning mop heads that are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just dragging the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops can also be filled at the top of the station when they are required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender for our best mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush will give you an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our tests' most soiled areas efficiently, while avoiding tangled pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that extend across baseboards.
Its navigation system is nimble, navigating small spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can easily move from one room to another without having to reverse direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than its competitors however, and tends to leave a large margin over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is easy to use and streamlined. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleaning tasks. You can also alter the suction power, mop settings, and view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be controlled through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get live video surveillance. However, you will require a reliable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of removing debris and dirt but it's not always able to be able to reach every bit of dust. It is important to clean regularly, once a week. This is especially true for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to do exactly that. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, including the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it is cheaper because it doesn't have mopping capabilities, and also has a plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has some of the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot in this price range. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It also has a clever app that lets you select your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.
The mops are also quite impressive with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have problems with carpets with high piles or area rugs, but it couldn't clean up cables or kitty litter, which is no surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home, which will allow it to enter places that other vacuums cannot reach. The K10 Plus also has the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as often. Additionally, it has washable filters, which reduces the costs associated with using the device. This robot can also detect carpets and boost the suction if required. You can also mark areas you want the robot to avoid using the app.
